Full name: Charles Septimus Weasley Nicknames: Charlie Birthdate and age: December 12, 1972//13 Sexual orientation: Charlie is one of those boys who throws himself into dangerous and manly things in order to prove how straight he is. Being gay isn't an option to him. He doesn't even know what being gay really is besides an insult you say to another mate. Yeah, he KNOWS it's men with men (which is supposed to be gross) and women with women (which is supposed to be hot) but beyond that... And by the time he does realize it he'll be too ashamed of himself to do anything about besides drunken trysts. But that's far in the future. Now, at 14, he is trying to be all about girls because Bill and his teammates are all about girls. Particularly that one from Corsetry that Bill has hanging on his wall. Ace. Really. Occupation: Student
Alumnus: Charlie went to Hogwarts for a year and a half, before it closed, and had been a Gryffindor. Now he attends St. Kashmir’s. Bloodline: A pureblood blood traitor Hometown and current residence: Ottery St. Catchpole
Family: FatherArthur Weasley - MotherMolly Weasley - BrotherBill Weasley (16) - Charlie thinks his older brother is the hands down coolest person in the world. Bill can do no wrong and whatever Bill says is obviously law. Charlie looks up to him immensely even if he feels like Bill is so perfect that he'll never quite be good enough. BrotherPercy Weasley (9) - Charlie doesn't really know what to think about Percy. His immediate younger brother is a little too serious and stand offish. That's fine with Charlie though. He's too busy with Bill and school and Quidditch and dragons to really worry much about him. Brother(s)Fred and George Weasley (8) - The twins usually keep to themselves and Charlie will never admit it but they're actually kinda scary. So he tends to give them a wide berth and let Percy or Bill deal with them. BrotherRon Weasley (6) - The youngest brother, Ron is subject to all the picking ons and all the tauntings. His ears turn red and it's pretty funny. But he's too young to play Quidditch so he doesn't really interest Charlie much yet. SisterGinny Weasley (5) - The baby and the only girl, every Weasley boy pretty much dotes on Ginny. To Charlie the newest addition is a little weird. It's a girl. And not a girl like Dora. This little girl wears pink and dresses and ribbons in her hair and plays with dolls and makes her brothers go to tea parties. Which Charlie thinks is pretty gay (that's the correct use for the word right?) so he makes sure he's not around whenever Ginny sends out tea party invitations.
Personal background: Blah blah born Blah blah flying Blah blah Hogwarts Blah blah Dora Blah blah Quidditch Blah blah St. Kashmir's Blah blah More Quidditch
Appearance: Charlie is rather short like his mum. He's only 14, so he's still growing, but it's evident that he isn't going to be tall like Bill. Because of his love of Quidditch he's pretty muscular for fourteen, which is fortunate because he'd have a tendency to stout and pudgy without the discipline. He has blue eyes and lots of freckles from spending so much time outdoors playing Quidditch. While also possessing the signature Weasley-Red hair, his affinity for being outdoors and in the sun has made his significantly lighter than his parents and siblings, more a strawberry-blond and less carroty. It's also much shaggier and longer than his mum cares for and he's always being scolded and pressured into letting her cut it. Played-by:Randall Bentley
Personality: Charlie doesn't take shite from people, first and foremost. While Bill is the more diplomatic one, Charlie will be the first one to tell you that you're being dumb and should stop. Honesty is very important to him, and he tends to get more mad if you lie to him about doing something bad to him rather than just telling him you did something bad to him. It's one of the reasons he and Dora are able to be such good friends. He doesn't take it personally when she tells him he's being mean or an idiot or a stupid boy. Because chances are he is and he really can't fault her for telling him the truth. This is particularly interesting because Charlie will spend most of his life lying to himself and everyone about his sex life.
In fact, girls kind of scare him. A lot. Not that he'll tell anyone this. And you wouldn't really guess anyways because his best friend is Dora Black. Who is a girl. Even though Charlie doesn't really think of her as a girl since she definitely acts a lot more like a boy. Sometimes - well, often - Charlie will forget she isn't a boy or find himself wishing that she was a boy. But he chalks those feelings up to her being his best mate and the fact that Bill says he can't hit her no matter how annoying she is or how much she hits him because she's a girl and you Do Not Hit Girls. So Charlie's been trying to get Dora to figure out how to turn into a boy for years. So he can finally hit her. That's all he wants her to be a boy for okay so stop looking at him like that!
Charlie plays Seeker for St. Kashmir's and is a natural at the position. For the year and half he's played there - and the half year he played at Hogwarts - he's never failed to catch the snitch. He takes Quidditch very very seriously and doesn't drink or smoke or eat junk food or anything that might hurt his performance on the pitch. But that doesn't make him soft - the horror! Charlie's not afraid to get rough and dirty. He lives for being outside and all manner of sports and activities catch his interest. He puts everything into the games and it's partly why he's so good at sports.
But as much as he loves sports - and he certainly LOVES sports - it's nothing compared to his love of animals. Unfortunately he sees that as kinda girly so he doesn't show it much. But those who are close to him know that Charlie has a soft spot for any animal he sees. He avoids stepping on ants, won't swat at mosquitoes, and has gotten in trouble no less than six times for bringing home various pets and hiding them in his room. Charlie's main animal love though - and the only one he doesn't mind talking about non stop - is dragons. Charlie at fourteen is almost a dragon expert. Whenever he isn't studying for classes (which isn't a lot) or playing outside (which is a majority of the time) he's learning about dragons. Almost every book he owns is dedicated to dragons. All his drawings as a kid were of dragons. He has posters of dragons and dragon action figures and dragon bed sheets at his house. He. Loves. Dragons.
But despite the honesty and the Boy's Club activities, Charlie is deeply insecure. He has Bill to live up to in front of him and Percy who is already brilliant coming up behind him and a whole slew of other brothers and a sister as well. He wants to be Charlie and love the things that he loves and hate the things that he hates and not feel like he's being held up and criticized for it. He wants to be a boy but he really isn't sure what that means entirely aside from following the examples of Bill and his teammates. It's why coming out is going to be so impossible for him. Charlie does NOT want to let people down. And he knows it would break his parents' heart if he weren't "normal." That's eventually while he'll run off to Romania to work with dragons instead of living in the spotlight of Pro-Quidditch. At some point he'll have to come to terms with who he is, but he'll be damned if anyone else ever finds out.
Affiliation and reasoning: He's 14. He doesn't really care too much about the Order. He knows the Death Eaters are the "Bad Guys" and the ones who killed Dora's parents, so by association he is against them. But Charlie just has too many other More Important Things to worry about to focus on politics. Besides. They're boring.
